Hussein El Rashidy is a trilingual trial attorney with vast jury trial experience. He is based at the firm’s Florida office and focuses his practice on all aspects of personal injury cases including products liability and traffic accidents. Hussein also litigates property and casualty claims for Bernheim & Dolinsky by helping homeowners fight insurance companies that refuse to live up to their obligation when a homeowner is in need.
Hussein received his law degree in Lansing, Michigan from Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he was a member of the school’s exceptional National Mock Trial Team. During Law School Hussein also received a diploma in international comparative law while studying in Paris, France at the Paris Institute of International Law. Hussein received his B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Toronto while living in his native Toronto, Canada.
He is admitted to practice in the State Court of Florida, the Federal Court in the Southern District of Florida, and in Ontario Canada.
Prior to joining Bernheim & Dolinsky, Hussein worked as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, where he served the people of Broward County for seven years. He prosecuted thousands of criminal cases and specialized at the State Attorney’s Office in bringing those to justice that were responsible for committing acts of sexual violence and child abuse upon the most vulnerable of victims. He spent his last two years while serving the people of Broward County prosecuting traffic homicides and supervising attorneys in the Felony Trial Unit. In his seven years as a prosecutor, Hussein tried over 50 cases before jurors of Broward County ranging from simple drug possession, home invasion robberies to first degree murder charges. Hussein was frequently recognized for his staggering conviction rate and exceptional rapport with victims and their families.
